ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Victoria and welcome to Victoria Greene Pilates.

 

Firstly, a polite introduction and a little about me……...

 

After a very active childhood filled with dance and performance hobbies from the age of two, I moved to London where I continued my training in musical theatre.

It was during this time that I started my personal Pilates journey and ignited my passion for all things alignment and posture! 

With a family history in medicine and my own keen interest in health and well being I pursued my interest further and qualified as a pilates instructor, through leading world trainers POLESTAR & STOTT. 

 

As an actor, I have been fortunate to teach in many theatres up and down the country and many of my clients can be seen in numerous West End and touring shows. 

The strength I’ve found through my own pilates practise has not only aided other physical activities I enjoy but has been paramount to keeping injury at bay on long contracts. This is one of the reasons I am invested and passionate about passing on my knowledge and helping others maintain a healthy body and active lifestyle as well.

WHY ME?

It is this same, personable, background that I attribute my teaching style to; individualised attention to detail, strong focus on correct technique and encouraging motivation, with a pinch of humour thrown in for good measure!

We should never finish practise without a smile on our faces. We are not here to torture ourselves but to find joy and reward in movement together. 

Like anything in life, I believe strongly in learning the individual first, not only their body but their mindset too. Then I am able to train them to their greatest ability to create balance between mind and body.

My weekly group classes are currently being streamed via Zoom or you can book 1-1 or 2-1 sessions either online or in person. Get in touch and lets create something positive together.
